INTERDISCIPLINE: SUBJECTIVE PRODUCTIONS THAT CHALLENGE CLINICAL DEVICES

The creation of a National Integrated Health System enabled the incorporation of psychoanalysts—traditionally dedicated to private practice—into new work settings, with novel modes of practice and engaging in interdisciplinary interventions. This epistemic model has encountered varying levels of resistance, leading to the persistence of positivist and biologicist views on mental health. As
a result, moments of both convergence and divergence can be observed in the daily practices of a clinical psychology that, in the 21st century, rarely operates in isolation. This article reflects on interdisciplinarity and its consequences on the subjective productions that emerge through diverse interventions.
