WEAVING THE UNCONSCIOUS: PSYCHOANALYTIC INTERVENTION, SYMBOLIZATION, AND PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCES
Keywords:
intervention, psychoanalysis, representationAbstract
Psychedelic experiences have gained relevance in mental health and pose a challenge for psychoanalysis. This article offers a critical reflection from the analytic listening perspective, privileging symbolization and subjective elaboration over substance-centered reductionisms. These states of consciousness require rigorous clinical work for their integration. The analytic framework, as a transitional space, enables the inscription of the experience into subjective economy, avoiding both uncritical fascination and moralizing rejection, and upholding an ethics of respect for singularity.
