Keywords:
mentalization, brief psychotherapy, parentsAbstract
This study seeks to explore, through the analysis of semi-structured interviews with parents, their perceptions of experiences related to factors that promote adherence to mentalization-based psychotherapy. Material from therapy sessions, interviews, and the
application of an assessment instrument was used. Parental perceptions, understanding of therapeutic goals, and collaborative work with parents emerge as central elements in promoting adherence to psychotherapy within this population.
